As the City of Post Falls has rapidly grown, the need for a new police administration facility became apparent. A building program was inititally completed that documented the department’s space needs for the next 15 years. After documentation of the required site size, several parcels of land were reviewed before a suitable one was selected. The building design blends function and aesthetics in a professional setting, providing an efficient workspace. In addition to department offices, the facility houses round-the-clock dispatch functions for the police and emergency services.
