This new home is a 4,500sf home perched on the hillside of Mica Peak overlooking the vast prairie below. With the incredible view, the owners wanted to maximize glazing and have a wonderful outdoor area for enjoying the vista while with family and friends enjoying a barbeque. The Owners requested a design that reflected craftsmanship detailing with a modern flare in materials and forms.  Vertical rib metal siding was used along with exposed timber framing to acheive that contrast. Within the interior, large open spaces were created with timber and stone accents along side the extensive glazing.  The design incorporates different angles of orientation to add interest and create unique spaces along with metal and shingle roofs, lap siding and stone veneer. The home features a large 3-car garage with a secluded game room above. The rich material palette and combination of design styles make for a beautiful and unique residence with a view everyone can appreciate.
