Seiter Hall Renovation North Idaho College Coeur d'Alene, Idaho
|
|
This project involved
the complete 30,000 s.f. renovation of the former science building at
North Idaho College, Seiter Hall. The remodel consists of updated
classrooms, science labs, offices, upgrades of HVAC, plumbing,
electrical, accessibility improvements and a total energy retrofit.
The client wanted to incorporate similar design elements from the Meyer
Health Science Building, designed by H2A in 2003. Some of the
repeated materials used are the new metal wall panels and aluminum
storefront, the interior hardboard wainscot and the natural maple wood
trim and doors. Seiter Hall now adds a new presence on campus for
both students and faculty. |
