Kootenai County Administration Facility

This project entails the design of a new stand-alone facility, meeting Kootenai County's projected administration needs for the next ten years.  Located on the existing County site, the facility was designed to respect the historically significant Courthouse while providing flexible working space that embraces modern technology in terms of communications, computers, and A/V capability.  Careful siting of the facility permits the design to work with the sloping site, allowing the main entrance on the lower level, adjacent to public parking.  The state-of-the-art long span, composite deck structural system allows for an open office plan and future space needs flexibility.
